Q & A

How long before I will see results? Joan, FL

Joan, you will start to see surface results immediately – brighter, smoother, and more radiant skin.  More radical results -- improvement in wrinkles or acne scarring -- can take 8 to 12 treatments (weeks). It all depends on what you are trying to achieve and how severe your problem is. Give it time. Real Glycolic Acid will work… guaranteed.

Any tips to help prevent breakouts? Kim, CA
Kim, There are several things you can do to help prevent breakouts…

  1. remove makeup before going to bed.
  2. remove makeup before working out/ change out of your workout close immediately after to avoid body breakouts.
  3. use a good moisturize daily to hydrate your skin. I personally like xxxx. But any good brand will do.
  4. change your pillow case every night before going to bed. This helps to make sure you sleeping on a clean service and not grinding any grim in your pours as you sleep.
  5. use a good aha/bha cleanser daily. I recommend xxxxx
  6. avoid soap
  7. stay away from fried fatty foods and nuts
  8. Do a glycolic acid peel once a week.
  9. Always use a clean wash cloth
  10. Last but not least relax. Stress can trigger outbreaks.

Which percentage of glycolic acid should I buy? Mike, TX
Mike… good question. I get this one a lot. If you have never done a chemical peel before (or have sensitive skin) I recommend starting with the lowest glycolic acid peel… the 30% system. If you have been doing glycolic acid peels for a sometime, or are looking to eliminate acne scarring even stretch marks, then use the 40% system. Now, if you’re an “old pro” at using glycolic acid peels, I would recommend using the 60% system. This is the glycolic acid peel that works best for removing severe acne scars.

How can you offer such a long guarantee? And why can’t I return before 60 days? Denise , NY
Because… I believe in this formula and this product. I have worked for other skin care companies and know what they recommend as “quality” and “pharmaceutical grade” products. Their products don’t cut the mustard. That’s why I had to start my own company. I wanted people such as yourself to know that (1) you would be receiving true pharmaceutical-grade glycolic acid peels and (2) it would work. That’s why I offer the 90-Day Guarantee and REFUSE to take back any product before 60 days. Because I know it will work given the chance. And if you have to use it for 60 days you WILL see the results. So, relax and use my glycolic acid peel for 8 weeks. It will work. And if for some reason you do not see the results you want… let me know. I WANT to hear from you.

How come you only offer glycolic acid peels? Why don’t you carry TCA peels? Susan, AZ
First… in my opinion (and my opinion alone), TCA peels are not something that should be sold online for at-home use. A TCA peel should only be applied by a professional in a professional setting. TCA peels are very harsh to the skin and require at least 10 to 14 days of recovery time. It is true that a TCA will do a great job. I don’t know about you however, but I can’t afford to stay home while my skin is recovering. I need to leave the house and work.

With a glycolic acid peel you get the same results as a TCA peel… without the extreme trauma to your skin . Does it take longer to see these results than a TCA peel? Yes.  But, your skin will never look damaged and you will be able to go about life as normal. Glycolic acid is a great all-around chemical peel. It treats most skin care conditions including: acne scarring, wrinkles, liver spots (age spots). PLUS… it helps to rebuild your collagen levels, making your skin look firmer and younger.

Are your glycolic peels the same as I get at my doctors? Anne, Canada
Yes… my peels are the same glycolic acid peels that you would get in a doctor’s office. I actually sell quite a lot of my peels to spas and estheticians. My glycolic acid is REAL pharmaceutical-grade glycolic acid. The only difference between mine that use in a doctor’s office is the pH level. I made sure my glycolic acid is formulated with slightly higher pH level (3.2 pH) to make it completely safe for at home use.

Can I use glycolic acid on more then just my face? Tonya, SC
Hi, Tonya! You can absolutely use my glycolic acid peels on areas other than your face. Use them to smooth out your heels and elbows. I like to use my glycolic acid peels on my legs, arms and shoulders right before the bathing suit season. It’s a great way to exfoliate away any dead skin before hitting the beach.

TANNING TIP… If you like to tan, then I would definitely recommend using a glycolic acid peel a few days before hitting the tanning bed. The peel will remove any dead skin that you have so that you are guaranteed an all-over even tan.
